Tracey Brothers successfully completed the Design & Build redevelopment of the Henderson’s Hightown Warehouse Complex in Mallusk, creating a new Ambient & Chilled Distribution Centre. The project followed on from our prior successful completion of the Design & Build state of the art Ambient Distribution Centre and associated office accommodation at Hydepark.
The new 190,000ft² Hightown Distribution Centre houses both ambient high-bay racking storage and cold-store chill accommodation for fresh foods. The warehouse accommodation, along with the associated office accommodation, incorporates the latest sustainability and energy efficiency techniques including maximisation of natural light in work areas, photo and movement sensitive lighting, an energy optimised refrigeration system and a state-of-the-art charging optimiser for all mechanical handling equipment.
