Following its completion in November 2018 the new St. Patrick’s Academy was officially opened by President Michael D Higgins on the 7th of March 2019. The occasion marked the culmination of decades of planning for the school and Tracey Brothers are delighted to have delivered the new state-of-the-art facilities.

As part of our programme of Continuing Professional Development a number of our staff have recently obtained PassivHaus Tradesperson Certification for PassivHaus Basics along with Building Envelope Specialisation. The qualification was obtained in accordance with the examination regulations from 1st April 2012 and awarded upon successful completion of the Certified PassivHaus Tradesperson examination. The first sod has been cut on the site of the new South West College Erne Campus. The new campus will be constructed on the site of the former Erne Hospital in Enniskillen. When completed, the building will further enhance South West College’s existing global reputation in the sustainable construction sector and will be used

Tracey Brothers welcomed visitors from the CEF (Construction Employers Federation) to two of our current projects in Sligo: IDA Oakfield Advanced Technology Unit and the Northwest Hospice. Mark Spence (Chief Executive), and David Fry (Head of Public Affairs), were given a tour around both sites by Contracts Manager, Donal McGloin and SHEQ Manager, Tracey McGovern.
