Opportunity to join a long established construction company working on a wide range of public and commercial projects generally ranging from £5M – £45M located in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. We are a CIOB Chartered Building Company with a nationwide reputation for quality.
Site Foreperson
- The successful candidate must demonstrate that they can successfully undertake the following tasks:
- Organise different trades for each work activity and programme each task out to ensure phased programme deadlines are met taking project from ground to completion
- Work in a team along with our Contracts Manager and/or Site Manager and be able to organise other staff members, supply chain and plant under their remit
- Work to tight deadlines and on own initiative
- Scheduling of materials and sub-contractors in advance
- Liaise daily with Site Manager, attend and address issues raised at routine progress meetings
- Ensure all Health and Safety procedures implemented on site
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- CSR card or equivalent
- 3rd level training/degree in a construction related course or a qualified trade background with relevant experience as site foreperson.
- Have a full driving licence
- Demonstrate several successfully completed projects to date
- A strong willingness to work as part of a senior contract team
